In mat Frankfurt Auto Show 2009, Audi introduced their latest concept car, e-Tron. Unlike other sports cars, e-tron 100 percent driven by electricity.
As quoted from Paultan, Audi uses four electric motors located at each dc wheels. With this technology, e-tron can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 4.8 seconds.
By working simultaneously, the four electric motors are capable of producing 313 hp with a torque capacity of 4500 Nm. A memampuan which is equivalent to other conventional-engined sports car.
Armed with 42.4 kWh lithium ion battery, Audi e-Tron able to walk as far as 248 km without having to recharge the electric power. But keep in mind, these distances can be traveled if you do not push all-out e-tron.
When seeing him this car is similar to the Audi R8. But other than electrical power, e-tron also has one other unique features. Namely technology disematkannya car-to-x communications system.
